Spikes & Ombre For My Anniversary

This is a comfy outfit I threw on to wear for mine and my boyfriends 4 year anniversary on Friday. We went to watch The Avengers at the cinema (which was hilarious and so good! I loved it!) and then we headed to get some pizza at an Italian pizza restaurant. Of course it was raining on and off, but we got lucky at the time we took these photos.

I’m wearing a Topshop Purple Ombre Studded Shoulder jumper/sweater, Topshop Acid Grey Leggings and Face ring, my Mulberry Candy Pink Denim Lily and my Urban Outfitters Boat wedges.

I fell in love with this jumper a couple of weekends ago and I just knew I would love it, so I bought it without trying it on. It combines 3 of my favourite things; studs/spikes, ombre and comfortable jumpers. It’s so warm and cosy! It works well with leggings too as it’s just long enough to cover them. I’ve included a photo of me sat in the display chair for Johnny Depp’s new movie Dark Shadows and also my cheese-less pizza since I don’t eat cheese. Did you all have a nice weekend?

Pastel And Neon Pink

I’m just warning you in advance, there are quite a few pictures in this post, ha ha. These were taken when I took a trip to the Botanical Gardens (one of my favourite places) over the weekend with my boyfriend to feed the animals and enjoy the scenery. I absolutely adore animals, as a lot of you know, so I love spending time with them and watching their cute behaviour.

I’m wearing my 7 For All Mankind Neon Pink jeans, my Topshop pastel speckle jumper/sweater, neon Boat Shoes and my Mulberry Candy Pink Quilted Denim Lily.

I got sent these jeans to review by 7 For All Mankind (which I will do soon on DenimBlog) and I absolutely love them! I think they are incredible! I picked up these Boat Shoes in Topshop a few weeks ago too (along with the pastel speckle jumper) and I can’t get enough of them! I’ve always loved Boat Shoes (my boyfriend is not very keen, but I am, ha ha!) but I always found them to look a little old fashioned, so when I saw these with all of the colours and hints of neon, I thought they were perfect! What do you think?

P.S – I would love for you to check out the DenimBlog Trend Guide which was posted yesterday. It’s a magazine in PDF form about the latest denim trends, interviews and more. You can download it here.

My New Mulberry Candy Pink Quilted Denim Lily

You might remember that I fell in love with this bag, the Mulberry Candy Pink Quilted Denim Lily, back in September 2011 when I saw it on Eliza Doolittle, which I then made a post about in October (here). This bag literally combines everything I love! Denim, pink, denim, a small bag, pink, denim, cross body bag, pink, denim… You get my drift!

Denim is my favourite fabric, as you know since I live in jeans, and making it pink and in my favourite Mulberry bag, the Lily, it’s just perfect! Since I saw it, I started saving because I knew I would really want it. Also it helps since it’s not made of leather, so I knew it would be cheaper than most Mulberry bags I can’t afford and as a plus it doesn’t have the potent leather smell! I am literally in love with this bag and I couldn’t wait to share it with you all! Also, the modelled photos are from an outfit I will be posting soon! What do you think of it?

Be My Valentine – Pink & Red Finds

Mulberry Candy Pink French Purse.

Since Valentines Day is right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to put a little post together of the things I like and think are appropriate for Valentines Day! Keeping with the theme of pink and red (for romance and love of course) I have piled together loads of items that I found online. Some are very cheap while others are quite expensive. I like to include a mix.

I personally would love everything in this list! Especially the Mulberry purse above, the Ksubi pink jeans, the Christian Louboutin Pigalle Platos, the glittery nail polish and the Azendi love birds necklaces! Just as a clue to one of my upcoming posts next week, I recently received a parcel in the mail and it contains one of these pink items… That’s all I will say! Maybe some of you regular readers will guess it! It’s something I have wanted for a long time and saved for…
