J Brand Coated Red, Blue Satchel & Zebra Print

I wore this outfit on Saturday last week and I love how it turned out. I used to like pairing red, black and white with leopard, but this time I opted for something different and decided to pair it with zebra! You might remember these jeans from this post, thankfully they are a lot more comfortable to wear now that I’ve worn them quite a few times. I love them! I also decided the blue satchel would really pop against the colours.

I’m wearing my J Brand 901 Coated Red leggings, an ASOS cream top, blue Satchel and Mouse ring, a Topshop black Biker jacket, a Zara Zebra and Berry scarf and my River Island black wedge boots.

What do you think of my outfit? I would actually say that I still have an obsession with red jeans, especially coated ones. I think they are so chic and definitely one of my favourite trends since last year. Also, just to let you know a bit in advance, I am planning to switch over to self hosting soon so I can accept sponsors and things like that as I have been getting a few requests! I’m excited about it and can’t wait! I will let you know when that’s planned!

The Tan Leather Jacket

I wore this outfit on Friday when I went to the cinema to watch The Lucky One, starring Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling. I have been excited for this movie to come out for ages because it’s a beautiful story. I think the movie was really good, not my favourite, I prefer Dear John from Nicholas Sparks to The Lucky One, but it was really romantic and lovely! Although, I feel like no good movies came out for ages and now they all seem to be popping up at once!

I was wearing my Current/Elliott skinny jeans, my new Zara tan PU Leather jacket, an ASOS cream top, my Topshop Leopard scarf and my River Island Moccasins and Bag.

I bought this tan leather style jacket a few weeks ago when I was attending a mini fashion show in Bristol (I still need to post those photos). I think it’s so pretty! I usually stick to black for these types of jackets, but I think tan is a refreshing change. I decided to keep a really simple and casual outfit here as usually I like to wear a lot of colour or prints, but the days where I keep things simple, sometimes I love them just as much, if not more! Did you all have a nice weekend? Have you watched The Lucky One yet?

Some Quick Snaps From Somerset House In London

Since the London trips are pretty much planned down to the last minute, I don’t really have any time to take photos of anything else other than the collections. It literally involves going from the train, into a taxi, to the location, into a taxi, to another location and so on until I get in a taxi and go to Paddington Station to get back on the train to come home.

However, when I was at Somerset House, the location was so beautiful I had to snap a few quick photos on my way out. Somerset House is actually the location where they hold most of the London Fashion Week shows, so I was very excited to visit it and check it out. It’s a beautiful place and I got to see Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the London Eye again while travelling in a taxi!

I was wearing my Diesel Jeggings, my Topshop white jumper/sweater and bag, my Zara coat, my River Island pastel scarf and my Sam Edelman Petty booties.

Luckily, while I was inside Somerset House seeing the new AW12 styles, it was pouring down with rain, but when it was time to leave, the sun came out and it dried up. It’s just a shame the second time around that I was in London, I wasn’t as lucky and did get soaked. Anyway, have any of you been to Somerset House before? And I hope you are enjoying my AW12 posts!

Ombre Denim & Leopard At Bristol Fashion Week

I promised you photos of my outfit when I attended the Live Bloggers show at The Mall during Bristol Fashion Week, and here they are. If you missed my post on the show with catwalk photos, you can see it here. I went down the route of mixing my leopard print jeans with my ombre denim shirt and I quite like how the combination turned out. The scenery outside is also amazing! I love the water fountains and sculptures.

I’m wearing my River Island ombre men’s denim shirt, my Current/Elliott grey leopard jeans, my Urban Outfitters wedges, my ASOS blue satchel and a Topshop lilac tank top and blue rainbow ring.

I’ve also included some photos of what it was like inside The Mall too, with the beauty stations and pretty palm trees. I think it’s beautiful! Overall though I had a great time and I can’t wait to go during the next Fashion Week! If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend it to you! So what do you think of my outfit? I hope you all had a wonderful Easter yesterday!

Playing With Tie Dye Jeans

I wore this outfit out on the weekend and I felt more confident about the jeans. At first I wasn’t so sure about them as they are so bright and loud, but they have grown on me so much and seem to be getting more popular in the celeb world too with Heidi Klum, Poppy Delevingne, Minka Kelly and Olivia Palermo having worn them. Last time I paired them with a cream jumper/sweater and nude heels, but this time I went down the route of black and I like it a lot more.

I’m wearing my Paige Verdugo jeans in Tumble, My Topshop PU leather biker jacket, Cross necklace and cross body bag, a H&M t-shirt and my River Island wedge booties.

I was in London yesterday for a few press days, so I will have Lulu Guinness and Nicholas Kirkwood’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection to share with you soon! But I plan on resting loads today as I am so exhausted from the trip. Also, for those of you who didn’t catch my post last week, I am now on Instagram and I post pictures daily (ones that are not on my blog) so come follow me on there! I’m LornaRaindrops. You can also see my Instagram feed on my FaceBook page. So what do you think of the outfit?

James Jeans Couture

I absolutely love these jeans! They are the James Jeans Couture skinnies and they are amazing! They are their new range of jeans which slim the thighs, have waist contouring and even lift the butt and they do all of those things. I think they are beautiful. You can read my review on them here on DenimBlog.

I’m wearing my James Jeans Couture skinnies, a Miss Selfridge white shirt, my Topshop red Saffi heels, my ASOS neon yellow bag, a River Island bracelet and my Disney Couture Apple ring.

I wanted to go classic with these so I paired them with a white shirt which ties up at the front, my red heels and a pop of colour from my bag. I definitely can’t wait to wear these again, I think they have become my new favourite classic jeans! What do you think of my outfit? I think it’s a little different to what I normally wear.

Vintage Levi’s Cut Offs

I have always been fond of the Urban Renewal Levi’s shorts in Urban Outfitters, but the fact that most of them were pretty much bleach white didn’t really make me want a pair. I saw this pair in the store and I thought they were gorgeous though! I love the dark blue they have to them and the perfect part was they were my size. I had no idea what size I would be in vintage Levi’s, as it turns out I’m a 31, which I find funny since with today’s sizing I am a 27!

I’m wearing my vintage Urban Renewal Levi’s cut offs, Miss Selfridge cream cardigan, Warehouse black leggings, River Island pink and orange scarf, H&M cream tank top, my Topshop bag, my Urban Outfitters wedges and my new Azendi Carousel earrings.

I decided pairing them with black leggings would be a good option since it’s too cold for bare legs. Of course I added some colour with my pink and orange sparkly scarf too! I’ve also included some photos of my new earrings I said I purchased, mine and my boyfriend’s food and some cool cast iron hand prints of famous people in the rest of this post. What do you think of the outfit?

My Bag Collection

As promised here is my bag collection to celebrate my blogs 2nd birthday which was on 10th March 2012. It took me a while to do these photos because I didn’t realise how many bags I had! I think I might have too many actually! I put them in two different piles, one being non designer bags (which make up most of my collection) and the other is my designer bags. I have also included some close up photos of all of the bags in this post too.

Above photo from left to right is:
1st row – River Island, Topshop, River Island, Topshop.
2nd row – Topshop, ASOS, River Island, Topshop, River Island.
3rd row – Peruna, Topshop, Topshop, ASOS, Topshop.
4th row – Urban Outfitters, River Island, ASOS, FCUK, Topshop.
5th row – Mary  Frances, Mary Frances and AVON.

I realised after making this post that I seem to love Topshop and River Island bags. They do make up most of my collection because I think they are cute and they are not expensive either!

Now on to my designer bags (below), which I have collected 7 over the past couple of years now. The best part is I never paid the retail amount for any of them except my Mulberry Pink Denim Lily and the MbMJ Dandelion Karlie. The Mulberry one I saved for months for! I am going to list these individually and where I got them from.

Top left is my Marc Jacobs Bruna. I got this from The Outnet back in 2010 with 70% off the retail price!

Top right is my Marc Jacobs Sonic Pouch. I got this also from The Outnet when they had their birthday sale. The most amazing part is I got it for only… £2!! Everything was £2 in their birthday sale so I was so excited to snap it up.

Bottom left is my Mulberry Oak Lily. I got this from an authentic seller on eBay for a good deal! I haven’t yet shared this one with you either.

Middle is my Mulberry Sparkle Tweed Alexa. I got this one from the Mulberry Factory Shop last summer at 70% off the retail price too.

Middle right is my Marc by Marc Jacobs Berry Haze Percy. I bought this from Shopbop with a 20% off code.

Bottom middle is my Marc by Marc Jacobs Dandelion Karlie. I bought this at the beginning of last year from Net-A-Porter. I fell in love with it and it has been one of my most used bags.

Bottom right is my Mulberry Candy Pink Quilted Denim Lily. I bought this from the Mulberry website not long ago and I am obsessed with it! I am so glad I saved for it!

So this is how my bag collection currently stands! I have tonnes and unfortunately there are more that I want, but those have to wait until I have saved. I think I have saved enough for another Marc by Marc Jacobs bag I want. It’s not too expensive, so it’s definitely manageable soon! The only other expensive one I want is the Mulberry Taylor in Deer Brown. I am waiting for that to appear at the Mulberry Factory Shop in a few months so I can get it really cheap! Hopefully it does! What do you think of the collection? Be sure to click this post to see all of the photos.
