Mint Green

I got the chance to collaborate with the online store Zalando, in which I got to choose a few items to style for my blog. One of those that I picked was this classic Levi’s Denim Trucker Jacket which I adore! The funny thing was, I didn’t actually own a regular blue Levi’s denim jacket, I have a patchwork one, but not one like this, so now I am thankful I can add this to my closet!

I paired the Levi’s denim jacket with mint green and double denim. I wasn’t so sure on mint green at first because I thought it might be too pale for me, but as it turns out I really like the colour. I also thought I would make this look a little different in pairing the denim jacket with a denim shirt. I’ve not worn double denim in this combination before. I think the yellow clutch makes the outfit pop too! What do you think?

I’m wearing a Levi’s denim jacket, a MiH denim shirt, Miss Selfridge mint leggings, my Kurt Geiger Eleanor nude heels and my Marc by Marc Jacobs Dandelion Karlie.

Also, Zalando actually have their own range of Zalando shoes as well as stocking loads of different premium brands like Diesel, Jeffrey Campbell, Ash, 7 For All Mankind and more! I will be showing you another piece that I got from Zalando next month! I’m excited about the next one. I just need some warmer weather!

Some New Clothes Purchases

Over the past couple of months, I have acquired some new purchases, so I thought I would share them with you all in one big post. A couple of items you have already seen, like the denim shirt, grey denim leggings and the studded ombre jumper/sweater, but the rest I haven’t yet shared with you.

So from left to right in the top image is a pink jumper/sweater I got in the sale from Topshop, a nude shirt with neon pink piping from the sale in Miss Selfridge, orange Earnest Sewn jeans which I got given to review, a yellow Zara blazer I purchased in London last month, mint leggings from Miss Selfridge, Topshop denim and crochet shorts and some lilac leggings from Miss Selfridge.

This is just a close up photo so you can see the details and fabrics a little better than the far away image at the top. Plus, I love to see such bright colours laid out next to each other as it’s so pretty to look at!

The sequin pair of denim shorts above are from Topshop and I love them! They are the pair I fell in love with from the press day last year (which you can see here) so I definitely needed them as a part of my closet when they became available. I haven’t had chance to wear them yet, but I can’t wait to!

Above are a pair of Aztec leggings from Miss Selfridge which I also fell in love with! I think they are so much fun! Also a black PU Leather sleeveless jacket from Topshop and a glitter feather necklace from the store too, which was in the sale for £1.50! I definitely couldn’t not buy it!

So these are all of my new purchases, some are sale items and others aren’t, but since I mainly shop at high street stores, nothing is overly expensive at all, which is perfect for me! Have you bought anything new lately? What do you like the most and can’t wait to see in one of my outfit posts?

Black & White With My Mulberry Oak Lily

This is an outfit that I put together on Easter Sunday, last weekend. I’ve sort of become addicted to leggings now, I have gained quite a few in pretty colours and prints, but these seem to be a pair I go to the most when I’m not in jeans. I thought pairing them with my tie front shirt would look nice and I quite like how it turned out.

I’m wearing my Miss Selfridge coated black leggings and my tie front white shirt, my new Topshop metallic toe cap heels, my Merle O’Grady necklace, Urban Outfitters bird ring, AVON pearl bracelets and my Mulberry Lily in Oak.

I’ve had a little thing for metallic toe cap heels and when I saw these in Topshop last month, I thought they were adorable! The best thing is they are only 3 inches so they are suprisingly comfortable! This is also the first time sharing my Mulberry Lily in Oak with you guys in an outfit. I don’t usually like brown and black together, but I have become fond of it when white is also involved. I then finished off the look with some accessories. What do you think?

Florals, Boat Shoes & Geraniums

I am so happy that the weather is warm! The sun has been shining for quite a few days now and the temperature is warm enough to not need a jacket anymore. I decided to wear a spring inspired outfit of florals and reds and I really like how it turned out. This cardigan is quite old, I have had it over a year now, but I adore the girly floral print. The jeans wash is also called Geranium so that adds to the floral effect! My boat shoes were the right colour combination to match too!

I’m wearing Joe’s Jeans, a Miss Selfridge floral cardigan, my H&M white t-shirt and gold bangles, my Disney Couture Apple ring, my Topshop Boat shoes and my new Marc by Marc Jacobs Bars & Bells bag in Scarlet.

I’m hoping this weather holds out for quite some time, I don’t want it to go cold again! I also don’t want us to have a super early summer like we did last year and then no warm weather it’s supposed to be warm. I’m headed to London very soon, in a few days, for some press events and I’m excited about it. I always like seeing the new collections. Did you have a nice weekend? Do you like the outfit I chose?

James Jeans Couture

I absolutely love these jeans! They are the James Jeans Couture skinnies and they are amazing! They are their new range of jeans which slim the thighs, have waist contouring and even lift the butt and they do all of those things. I think they are beautiful. You can read my review on them here on DenimBlog.

I’m wearing my James Jeans Couture skinnies, a Miss Selfridge white shirt, my Topshop red Saffi heels, my ASOS neon yellow bag, a River Island bracelet and my Disney Couture Apple ring.

I wanted to go classic with these so I paired them with a white shirt which ties up at the front, my red heels and a pop of colour from my bag. I definitely can’t wait to wear these again, I think they have become my new favourite classic jeans! What do you think of my outfit? I think it’s a little different to what I normally wear.

Vintage Levi’s Cut Offs

I have always been fond of the Urban Renewal Levi’s shorts in Urban Outfitters, but the fact that most of them were pretty much bleach white didn’t really make me want a pair. I saw this pair in the store and I thought they were gorgeous though! I love the dark blue they have to them and the perfect part was they were my size. I had no idea what size I would be in vintage Levi’s, as it turns out I’m a 31, which I find funny since with today’s sizing I am a 27!

I’m wearing my vintage Urban Renewal Levi’s cut offs, Miss Selfridge cream cardigan, Warehouse black leggings, River Island pink and orange scarf, H&M cream tank top, my Topshop bag, my Urban Outfitters wedges and my new Azendi Carousel earrings.

I decided pairing them with black leggings would be a good option since it’s too cold for bare legs. Of course I added some colour with my pink and orange sparkly scarf too! I’ve also included some photos of my new earrings I said I purchased, mine and my boyfriend’s food and some cool cast iron hand prints of famous people in the rest of this post. What do you think of the outfit?

The Men’s Ombre Dip Dye Denim Shirt

When I saw this denim shirt online while browsing River Island, I completely fell in love with it! I saw it on the home page, but it turned out to be a men’s shirt. I was a little worried on the sizing and although this XS one is a little big in the shoulders and arms, I absolutely love it! I don’t even mind that it’s not a woman’s shirt. I just love the ombre blue dip dye effect it has, it’s so blue and pretty!

I’m wearing my River Island men’s denim shirt and my new black wedge booties, my Miss Selfridge shiny black leggings and my turquoise turtle ring from my mum.

I also found these booties yesterday in town, I fell in love with them when I saw them too. I have been looking for the perfect pair of black wedge boots that were not too steep and these are it! I thought pairing this shirt with the shiny leggings would look quite nice and I quite like how the outfit turned out actually. What do you think?

P.S – I haven’t had the time yet to take the photos of my bag collection as my blogs 2nd birthday post. I will be doing it this week, even though it was yesterday my blog turned 2. Please bear with me on this one! It’s going to take a while to take all of the photos and make the post! Hopefully it turns out ok!

Burgundy Blazers & Black Coated Leggings

An outfit with no jeans! I’m sure that’s what some of you may be thinking, ha ha! This is what I put together for the weekend when I went to lunch with my boyfriend. I’ve always loved the waxed black leggings look, I think they are really classic!

I’m wearing Miss Selfridge black coated leggings, my Zara burgundy blazer, my Topshop leopard scarf and bag, an ASOS long sleeved top and my ASH Jeff boots.

I fell in love with this bag the moment I saw it! I love the way it combines all of the classic and neutral colours together. My boyfriend bought it for me for Valentines Day and I was so happy! This time I have also included some photos of my lunch! I had pizza, but I don’t have cheese on my pizzas, so I just sprinkled the dry parmesan on it, which I don’t mind as it doesn’t hurt my stomach.
