Mint Green

I got the chance to collaborate with the online store Zalando, in which I got to choose a few items to style for my blog. One of those that I picked was this classic Levi’s Denim Trucker Jacket which I adore! The funny thing was, I didn’t actually own a regular blue Levi’s denim jacket, I have a patchwork one, but not one like this, so now I am thankful I can add this to my closet!

I paired the Levi’s denim jacket with mint green and double denim. I wasn’t so sure on mint green at first because I thought it might be too pale for me, but as it turns out I really like the colour. I also thought I would make this look a little different in pairing the denim jacket with a denim shirt. I’ve not worn double denim in this combination before. I think the yellow clutch makes the outfit pop too! What do you think?

I’m wearing a Levi’s denim jacket, a MiH denim shirt, Miss Selfridge mint leggings, my Kurt Geiger Eleanor nude heels and my Marc by Marc Jacobs Dandelion Karlie.

Also, Zalando actually have their own range of Zalando shoes as well as stocking loads of different premium brands like Diesel, Jeffrey Campbell, Ash, 7 For All Mankind and more! I will be showing you another piece that I got from Zalando next month! I’m excited about the next one. I just need some warmer weather!

Denim And Grey

I’m sorry that I haven’t been able to post much this week. I have been so busy with posts on DenimBlog, that I haven’t had much time and I was in London again yesterday (which I got soaked in the torrential down pour) as I have been visiting the AW12 press events. Yesterday however was my last London trip so I wont be going again for quite some time, which means I have plenty of time to catch up on my posts.

I’m wearing G-Star skinny grey moto jeans, a Topshop denim shirt, lilac tank top, silver horse ring and crystal beaded bracelet and my Kurt Geiger Nude Eleanor heels.

This outfit is one that I put together on the weekend and I really quite like it. I love denim shirts and I usually pair them with dark blue jeans, but I chose grey this time around and love how that turned out! It’s just a simple look, but sometimes I think simplicity can look just as good as layers and prints. What do you think? I had to dodge the rain showers for these photos too, ha ha!

Tie Dye Tumble

These jeans I got from the Paige Denim press day in London back in November and I love them! I think they are so much fun! I think pairing them with neutrals is the way forward because they are so bold on their own, you don’t want to over power them. I can definitely see myself wearing these more in the Spring and Summer, they will definitely be fun jeans for the warmer weather!

I’m wearing my Paige Verdugo jeggings in Tumble, a Topshop cream jumper/sweater, wooden fish necklace and Leo stone ring and my Kurt Geiger nude Eleanor heels.

I think the next time I plan on wearing these will be with my black leather style jacket and some black heels. I think that will work as well and give them more of an edge. I did a review of these on DenimBlog a little while ago and I said that I never thought red, purple and orange would work well together, but I think these jeans prove that those colours do go very well! What do you think of them? They have since been spotted on Heidi Klum and Poppy Delevingne.

Feather & Snake Print Leggings

These are my feather and snake print leggings that I bought last week after falling in love with them! I don’t really wear leggings that much, as I am sure you have noticed, because it’s rare I can find pretty cotton ones, but after I finally came to the realization of pairing the non cotton ones over a cotton pair, I’m hooked! Gosh knows how it took me so long to figure that out though, ha ha!

I’m wearing my Topshop quilted biker jacket and cream scarf, Miss Selfridge leggings and black dress with a H&M white t-shirt over the top, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Percy bag and my KG by Kurt Geiger boots.

This is the outfit that I wore to the cinema over the weekend. I watched Haywire, which isn’t something I would usually watch, but my boyfriend wanted to see it so I didn’t mind. I actually quite liked it despite the amount of violence! Also, don’t forget to enter my Sam Edelman Petty Boots giveaway that I am running right now! I’m loving reading the entries, they are so creative!

Some New Purchases

What I love most about this time of year (despite it being freezing which I definitely don’t love) is the huge sales! Literally everywhere has sales and I like to shop them a couple of weeks after they start because everything ends up even more reduced. Not all of these purchases are sale items, but a few of them were super cheap anyway or I had discount codes. I haven’t bought all of these this week though, these are purchases that I have accumulated over the past 2 months, but haven’t shared with you yet.

Above, from left to right, is my new Topshop PU leather quilted biker jacket, a Topshop white sweater/jumper, Current/Elliott grey leopard jeans, Miss Selfridge burgundy and feather print leggings, Topshop necklaces and Kurt Geiger boots.

The jacket I am absolutely in love with! The quilting on it is amazing! The jeans have been on my wish list for a good few months and I finally saved enough for them. I always had trouble with printed leggings since most of the time they are made from polyester, so what I decided to do for the feather ones is put them over the top of the cotton burgundy ones and I can’t feel a thing! So excited about that! The boots will be great for wearing with jeans and the necklaces were adorable!

What items have you been buying over the holiday sales? I literally just save all my money for clothes purposes, I only sometimes eat lunch out maybe 3 times a month and I don’t go out to parties or anything like that, so all of my money does go on clothes. It’s a pretty bad obsession! Ha ha!

Pink Neon Warmth

This sweater is one of my new knitwear purchases and I am absolutely in love with it! I saw it online and was unsure on it at first, it looked quite boxy, but I decided to give it a go. I love pink, and neon pink attracts me even more. It’s actually really warm because there is stitching in between the waffle weaves and unlike most knitwear, is doesn’t itch me because it’s acrylic. I have such a problem finding knitwear which is good for me, but this one is!

I’m wearing a Topshop neon pink sweater/jumper, c.r.a.f.t denim skinny jeans, Kurt Geiger nude heels and a Topshop Love ring.

I was reviewing these jeans and I actually put this outfit together on the spur of the moment. I didn’t plan it, I was trying the jumper on as it came in the mail when I had the jeans on and the two just went together. I’ve worn it twice already and I can’t wait to wear it more times! I think it might be making quite a few appearances on my blog in the near future!

I’ve Fallen In Diesel Love All Over Again

I couldn’t think of a title for this post that would be really interesting so I just went with how I feel. I found these jeans at the Diesel store in London a couple of weeks ago after seeing the new collections at the headquarters, and I was very lucky to be given them to review for DenimBlog. Diesel was one of my first denim loves, maybe coming up to 5 years ago. Now they have completely redesigned the women’s collection and having these jeggings really did make me fall in love with the brand all over again.

I’m wearing Diesel Jegonfire skinny jeans, an old All Saints white jersey top and my Kurt Geiger nude Eleanor heels.

Since these jeans are now one of my new favourites, I love to pair them with a really simple outfit like this one. They have so much detail on them that I love, like the moto knee stitching and the rip as well as the pretty wash, I don’t want to overshadow it. I’m really glad that Diesel did start doing jeggings, these are the comfiest pair I own by the brand! I can’t get enough of them! What do you think of them? Do you love them too? And are you all ready for Christmas?

Leopard & Leather

I sort of decided to take some kind of break from the internet this weekend. Sometimes I feel like a break is needed, I love everything about blogging and working online but sometimes I like to take a back seat and relax. I had a nice time with my boyfriend, watching movies and going out to lunch.

I’m wearing my MET Eco-Pelle Leather like jeans, a Zara leopard print shirt, my KG by Kurt Geiger Nude Eleanor heels, a Topshop Lamb ring and my Ray-Ban Tortoise Cats Eyes sunglasses.

As you know I love leopard print and I thought about pairing this shirt with the leather style jeans. I love the combination but I was slightly worried that it might give off a vibe that’s not really me, I think I managed to make it work and I quite like the outcome. I like this shirt though since it’s looser and has a more casual look to it rather than a dressy one. What do you think?
