Florals, Boat Shoes & Geraniums

I am so happy that the weather is warm! The sun has been shining for quite a few days now and the temperature is warm enough to not need a jacket anymore. I decided to wear a spring inspired outfit of florals and reds and I really like how it turned out. This cardigan is quite old, I have had it over a year now, but I adore the girly floral print. The jeans wash is also called Geranium so that adds to the floral effect! My boat shoes were the right colour combination to match too!

I’m wearing Joe’s Jeans, a Miss Selfridge floral cardigan, my H&M white t-shirt and gold bangles, my Disney Couture Apple ring, my Topshop Boat shoes and my new Marc by Marc Jacobs Bars & Bells bag in Scarlet.

I’m hoping this weather holds out for quite some time, I don’t want it to go cold again! I also don’t want us to have a super early summer like we did last year and then no warm weather it’s supposed to be warm. I’m headed to London very soon, in a few days, for some press events and I’m excited about it. I always like seeing the new collections. Did you have a nice weekend? Do you like the outfit I chose?

We ate at Giraffe which is one of my favourite places, although I haven’t been there in a long time as it’s fairly expensive. I had the grilled chicken club toasted sandwich with fries, it usually comes with wedges, but I think they changed the menu. I had their apple crush sorbet for desert too, I am obsessed with sorbet! My boyfriend had a cheese burger, which is always his favourite, and then a passion fruit cheesecake for after. Have any of you eaten at Giraffe before?

I also included some photos of the gorgeous abbey! Now it’s really warm out, it always looks so beautiful in the sunlight.

  1. OMG I’d recognize passion fruit cheesecake anywhere, was it good lol?

Oh and cute outfit, Lorna. At first glance I thought you were those floral current eliot jeans lol. I like this look better though.

  2. Lol! I actually am not very fond of those ones, the only florals I took a liking too was the mini floral current/elliott’s, the ones with tiny flowers on, or the pinky red J Brand floral sea shell ones. But I haven’t tried any of them yet. I ate some of the actual passion fruit, which was really intense lol, but the cheesecake was my boyfriends, I don’t like cheesecake at all, but he said it was good!

  3. Lovely outfit Lorna, just right for the spring/summer sunshine we are having right now… The Abbey does look lovely, and so does the food xx

  9. LOVE the bright pant and shoe combo. I bought a pair of boat shoes recently and I’m looking for new things to wear with them. Any suggestions?
