Eccentric designer, Roberto Cavalli, presented his Spring/Summer 2011 collection during Milan Fashion Week on the 27th September 2010 in Milan Italy.
This collection really is something! Like most of Roberto’s creations, the styles are very out there and bold. He used what was popular among most of the fashion shows this season, floral and animal prints in neutral tones. One thing he wasn’t afraid to do was mix the strong animal prints with feminine floral prints and colour. He also used a lot of shredded clothing with fringing which included trouser suits and dresses. Leather was present in some of the designs as well. Roberto also used very strong embroidery prints in his clothing, giving it a fun 70’s vibe! I can’t say I am a fan of any of these pieces, they are not very me or my style but I admire his creations on the runway. I’m definitely seeing a trend for Spring/Summer 2011 with all of these fashion shows! I have also included a lot of photos of the celebs who attended the show, I love some of the outfits!
